Justin Hires is the self-proclaimed future of comedy and entertainment!
Born in St. Petersburg, FL, and raised by two very supportive parents, Justin always had an extremely notable gift to make others laugh. At an early age, he began honing his craft as an entertainer. At the age of 13, Justin became the youngest cast member in the Tampa Bay Area's popular "Shakespeare in the Park" productions. By the time he graduated from Gibbs High Performing Arts School with a degree in Theatre Performance, he was widely recognized as a rising local talent.
Upon graduating from high school, Justin ventured to Atlanta, GA, where he attended Clark Atlanta University. While in Atlanta, he was cast in the films "Stomp the Yard" and "The Gospel."
MTV then discovered Justin as an on-air personality at Clark Atlanta University's campus radio station, WSTU 98.1. They enlisted him to become a video-jockey for their college network, mtvU. Special assignments by MTV afforded him the opportunity to interview some of the elite in show business, including: Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy), Young Jeezy, Lupe Fiasco, Akon, and many others- all while graduating with honors from CAU, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts Radio, TV, and Film.
Justin then moved to Hollywood, where he immediately started performing stand-up comedy and landed his first television pilot for MTV- "Dance Justice." He soon started producing sketch comedy videos for the web; His videos seen on the sites YouTube.com and WorldStarHipHop.com have collectively garnered over 5 million views . Justin was then chosen to participate in the highly regarded and extremely popular CBS Diversity Showcase, where he caught the eyes of several casting and network producers. His television appearances include- being a series regular on the MTV hidden camera show "Disaster Date" and can currently be seen on the new sketch comedy show- "In the Flow with Affion Crockett" on FOX.
Up next, Justin will be seen in Columbia Pictures' highly aniticipated feature film "21 Jump Street" portraying-Juario, along side Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. Along with acting, Justin is currently writing a comedy feature for Rainforest Films (Stomp the Yard, Takers) in which he will be co-starring in.
